Veronica is a compassionate and experienced professional with over ten years of practice supporting vulnerable individuals, young people and families through complex life experiences. Guided by values of humanity, authenticity and cultural humility, she provides trauma-informed therapy grounded in evidence-based approaches. Veronica most recently supported individuals, couples and families experiencing gambling-related harm, offering comprehensive assessment, collaborative goal setting and recovery counselling. Her previous work as a Senior Child, Youth & Family Practitioner involved intensive support for families navigating child protection, out-of-home care and reunification, with a strong focus on attachment and amplifying young people’s voices. Originally trained as a psychologist in Colombia, she has delivered individual and group interventions across disability, trauma and community mental health settings. Fluent in Spanish and English, and drawing on her lived experience as a migrant, Veronica brings warmth, cultural sensitivity and deep respect for each person’s story to her work.
